Abstract | Intisari
The development of air transportation, both civilian and military, has experienced a very rapid development from time to time. This is seen from various aspects, one of which is the relatively faster transportation time compared to other transportation. Aircraft maintenance needs to be done to maintain the condition of an aircraft to make it more feasible to fly so as to provide safe and comfortable flight operations for service users and to meet the criteria in the world of aviation, namely "zero accident". The purpose of this study is to determine the handling of trouble on the electric motor driven pump component of Boeing 737-300 aircraft. In carrying out maintenance to ensure safety, security and comfort in aircraft operation. The data used in this research is qualitative data to support the information source of the data used obtained from field observations, namely literature study materials, literature, previous research, books, and documents from the company in the form of an aircraft maintenance manual. The results show that several factors have been found that cause the electric motor driven pump to fail function, namely: the electric current is cut off during operation, the overheat indicator light turns on, the emdp stops and gets hot, and the pump is aerated. Efforts to deal with trouble on the electric motor driven pump component by replacing these components.
