Abstract | Intisari

Pitot Static System is one of the systems in an aircraft that functions as the entry of static air through the static port and the entry of dynamic air through the pitot tube where the incoming air is used to move the indicator / instrument. The purpose of this study was to determine the effect of blocking on the static port on instrument performance and troubleshooting a static system pitot. This research is a qualitative study, where the author explains about the effect of blocking on the static port and the process of troubleshooting the static pitot of the Cessna Grand Caravan 208B aircraft owned by PT. Susi Pudjiastuti (Susi Air) base Malinau, North Kalimantan. Data collection techniques in this study include interview observation, field observations and literature study methods. The results of this study can be concluded that the blocking of the Static port can affect the performance of the instrument / indicator and the problem of differences between instrument 1 and instrument 2 due to the presence of water in the pitot channel so that the pitot channel becomes blocked, this inspection process is carried out using the Air Data Test.
