Abstract | Intisari
The purpose of this study was to find out what the thrust reverser system is, the components and mechanisms of the CFM56-7B thrust reverser engine on the BOEING 737-900 ER to assist braking during landing, the mechanism for the thrust reverser on the CFM56-7B engine of the BOEING 737-900 ER, and inspection check and troubleshooting stages that occur in the thrust reverser on the CFM56-7B engine of the BOEING 737-900 ER when the landing plane experiences an Upper locking actuator. The benefits of this research can improve understanding of the thrust reverser system, working mechanisms, and stages of maintenance actions on the upper locking actuator components. The study used a qualitative research design by exploring the analysis of the working mechanism of the thrust reverser on the CFM56-7B engine of the BOEING 737-900 ER. The results of this study are in the form of explaining what a thrust reverser system is, working mechanisms, inspection checks, and troubleshooting of the upper locking actuator components on the thrust reverser engine CFM56- 7B BOEING 737-900 ER.
