DIV Manajemen Transportasi Udara, Jenjang Sarjana, Program Diploma IV, Sekolah Tinggi Teknologi Kedirgantaraan. Pembibing: Nur Makkie Perdana k, S.Kom. The government announced the development of 10 (ten) destinations, one of which is Lake Toba in North Sumatra proponsi. To support the program, an international air transportation facility is needed which allows it to easily access the location of the tour. But this is very necessary for the government that has inaugurated Silangit Airport to become an international airport while in terms of facilities it is not yet perfect to become an international airport. Research Objectives To convey information about the status of Silangit Airport status and to know the basic requirements of international airports that must be discussed The data used in this study are primary data consisting of observation and interviews, as well as secondary data consisting of airport facility data, air transport user data in 2017 and organizational structure before and after operating into international airports. The results of this study indicate that Silangit Airport has been eligible to become an international airport and fully supported by the air transportation ministry with several more developments in terms of tourism and flight routes in order to remain an international airport. With the Sea Games, it is expected that Silangit Airport will exist again in the future Keywords : Airport Transformation, Feasibility Status, International Airport.
