Abstract | Intisari
Air transportation is a means of transportation that is technologically advanced and has an important role in this period. airplanes are driven by a flying or aviator known as a pilot. To become a pilot, you must have the knowledge, skills, experience, personality, and soft skills gained from training and coaching. PT. Sriwijaya Air implemented several types of mandatory training for a pilot to support the flight mission both before tag off, while in the air, and when landing the aircraft. The purpose of this study is to find out the type of mandatory training, to find out how far the mandatory training effect is on a pilot's decisionmaking when facing a situation that is at risk of an accident, and to know the consequences of not participating in a mandatory training. The method used in this study is qualitative, qualitative means that the data collected is not in the form of numbers, but the data comes from interviews, personal documents, memo notes, and official documents on mandatory training. Based on research conducted shows that there are 10 types of mandatory training ALAR & CFIT, AVSEC, CET, CRM, DG, GROUND DE-ICING, PBN, RVSM, SMS, WINDSHEAR. In this study that there is an influence on the decision making of pilots on situations that are at risk of accidents, and the lack of participation of a pilot in the implementation of mandatory training will affect the integrity and quality of pilot.
