Abstract | Intisari

Adi Soemarmo Airport Boyolali is one of the International Airports in Indonesia managed by PT Angkasa Pura I. As an International Airport, many potential security problems are faced compared to domestic airports. Therefore we need quality and competent resources in the field of aviation security. The purpose of this study was to determine the competence of aviation security personnel at Adi Sumarmo Airport in the period March 2018. This type of research comes from primary data and secondary data. The study uses triangulation technique that uses quantitative and qualitative methods together, both in data collection and analysis. Based on the results of the study, it can be seen that there are 2 (two) employment status of Aviation Security Personnel at Adi Soemarmo Airport, namely Organic Employees and Outsourcing Personnel, Organic Employees are 22 people with Senior rank of 14 people and Junior Staff are 8 people. While the remaining Outsourcing Personnel amounted to 89 people with Senior rank of 34 people, Junior as many as 8 people and Basic as many as 55 people. Based on the Personnel Status, it can be seen that the number of Outsourcing Personnel is greater than Organic Employees. Based on the percentage, it can be explained that organic workers amounted to 19.8%, outsourced workers as much as 80.2%. In accordance with his rank, senior employees are 12.6%, junior is 37.8% and basic is 50.6%.
