ANALYSIS OF RETRACT AND EXTEND TIME DIFFERENCES IN LANDING GEAR P2006T TECNAM AIRCRAFT Fajar Muzaki Afif 1 dan Haris Ardianto, S.T., M.Eng 2 ABSTRACT The smoothness of the airplane is certainly not an instant thing, before the plane had to go through several stages of maintenance. One of the maintanance is inspection of landing gear. Landing gear inspection must be carried out every time specified in the AMM (Aircraft Maintenance Manual), because as we know that landing gear is one of the vital parts of the aircraft that functions to support the aircraft when taxing, take off, landing, parking. So that the inspection is expected to minimize accidents on aircraft. This research was carried out at PT. Mulia Sejahtera Technology which is a company that takes maintanance of Bandung Pilot Academy aircraft. This research is a descriptive type of research. Descriptive research is a method used to explain or describe a result of circumstances, events, objects or anything related to variables but not used to make broader conclusions. The research data in this Final Project was obtained by observing the retract and extending Tecnam P2006T aircraft landing gear. This Final Project research was obtained from data sources from other reference books such as web and maintenance manuals as well as manual training and interviews. Working principle on landing gear Tecnam P2006T aircraft that is fully retractable landing gear. Maintenance of landing gear covers remove and install only for cleaning the components inside, after that Retract and extend inspection is one part of landing gear inspection. Retract and extend inspection is very important and cannot be missed when a landing gear inspection is caused if one of the components between a hydraulic motor or a battery is damaged it will be very dangerous because it can make the retract and extend the landing gear disturbed and can cause accidents on the aircraft. The document needed for this inspection is AMM (Aircraft Maintanance Manual). Key words : Tecnam P2006T, Troubleshooting, Landing gear, retract, extend
