ABSTRACT Anwar, Muhammad S, 2018 Passenger Knowledge Level About Lion Air airline's emergency equipment Adisutjipto International Airport Yogyakarta. DIV Study of Air Transportation Management, Bachelor Degree, Diploma IV Program, Yogyakarta Aerospace Technology College. Advisor: Wawan Riyanta, S.Pd., M.T. The understanding of passengers about emergency equipment is something that needs to be considered in the flight, by the organizers of air transportation because all the equipment is a safety support for passengers when an emergency occurs, either landing on water or landing on land. The population in this study amounted to 82 respondents, namely passengers of the airline Lion air Yogyakarta Adisutjipto international airport, using 25 test questions if the respondent answered correctly would get a score of 4 and if the respondent answered incorrectly to get a score of 0, with quantitative descriptive research method. The level of knowledge of passengers about the emergency equipment of the airline Lion air Yogyakarta international airport is classified as moderate, namely 56 passengers from 82 respondents or as much as 68.3% with an average value of 69.80. 10 respondents (12.2%) got high scores and 16 respondents (19.5%) got low scores.
