Abstract | Intisari
Improving service to passengers is certainly always done by every airline company, one of which is Baggage Handling. Passenger baggage handling is one of the main things of an airline company service that can make the company maintain its reputation. This research was conducted to determine the difference in average baggage weight between Garuda Airlines Flight Number GA 229 and Garuda Flight Number GA 221 on the Solo-Cengkareng route for the 2016-2017 period at PT Gapura Angkasa Adi Soemarmo Solo Airport. This study uses secondary data in the form of Operation or Daily Journal Report at PT Gapura Angkasa Adi Soemarmo Solo Airport. The data is then analyzed using the t-test. Hypothesis criteria is Ho refused to> ta and Ho is accepted if to <ta. The results of the hypothesis testing show that Ho is accepted with the results of testing to <1,137 which means that Ho is accepted and Ha is rejected, so it can be concluded that there is no significant difference in baggage weight between Garuda Airlines Flight Number GA 229 and Garuda Flight Number GA 221 on the Solo-Cengkareng route for the 2016 Period -2017 at PT Gapura Angkasa Adi Soemarmo Solo Airport. The results also show that the average baggage weight of Garuda Flight Number GA 229 is 827,236 kilograms and the average weight of Garuda Flight Number GA 221 baggage is 795,993 kilograms.
